Kāpiti Gospel Choir
JULY 2024: KGC has been joined by some singers from Gale Force Gospel & Kāpiti Community Choir for the World Choir Games in Auckland in July. We'll be taking part in the Open Competition, Coaching, Friendship Concerts & the Parade of Nations.

2014 Shona McNeil took over from Carol Shortis and in 2020 the Choir moved from Paekakariki to Paraparaumu. We follow the inclusive teaching style of Tony Backhouse, learning everything by ear. Traditional African American spirituals, gospel songs, plus a range of world songs.
